Converted Photonix's YAGI frame STL to DWG, traced out required cuts. The design only has basic functional cuts and lacks letters/numbers. Cut the antenna from 1/8" (3mm) plexiglass or 1/4" plywood for durability. Place the center of the object on rubber-duckie where the coax emerges. Customize DXF as needed, with large hole fitting rubber-duckie antenna. Adjust copper wire holes according to material and laser cutter properties. Photos show various builds with 12-gauge and 17-gauge wires. DXF files available for download, sized for specific wire gauges. A calibration piece tests hole size for a tight fit on the wire. A BASIC program by DL6WU calculates element lengths for 12-gauge wire. Element lengths are listed in table for reference. Improved signal strength was noticed but gain measurement lacked resources.
