Yagi Handle with Compass Mount for Fox Hunts
thingiverse
This is a printable handle for a Yagi antenna that includes a compass mount. The antenna can be used for radio direction finding, also known as fox hunts. The handle is hollow, making it possible to mount on a pole. However, you need to be careful about the material used to print the parts regarding stability. To connect all pieces, I used M4 nuts and M4x8 or M4x10 screws. The antenna is friction-fitted by the screws at the bottom of the prints. A compass can be mounted using zip-ties. I printed the part shown in the photos with an Elegoo Mars without modifications using standard white Elegoo resin and printer settings. For further stability, I recommend using a tough resin, which I didn't have at the time of uploading. As a side note, the antenna can be found on Wimo.com. 73 de OE1WEH
