I've been using a replacement knob for my MPSM printer that's already here, and I've found it to be pretty reliable. The one I used was from Thingiverse, and it worked well for me for a good while. However, there were a couple of things about it that didn't quite meet my expectations - the height seemed too high (maybe that was just an issue with the V1 model), and the diameter was a bit too large to turn smoothly. I decided to take matters into my own hands and came up with something new in Fusion 360. After printing a few prototypes, I settled on this design. It fits snugly within the stock hole, which means minimal LED light leaks around (that's why I chose clear filament for a nice glow effect). Plus, it should be reasonably secure on the shaft.
