You'll need either the original spring or a small piece of metal bent to fit as a replacement. A version 2 is available, boasting a shorter length and a hole for secure snapping. The first version often breaks off when trying to attach it. To install version 2, remove the small roll pin, insert the spring, align the holes, and replace the roll pin. Version 1 pictured below
