Yaesu FTDX 101 button panel
thingiverse
The FH-2 is a fiddly device and I don't like how it is so light and small. My solution is to make a front panel for quick access to the 5 Voice and 5 CW memories. It attaches using magnets so the Yaesu is not damages in any way. Printed in PLA, 0.16mm layer height. Other part needed: Surface mount resistors (get a cheap kit from eBAY) 6 x Neodymium Rare Earth Strong N42 Magnets 10 mm x 3 mm 1x 3.5mm mono plug and a short length of twin core wire. 1x 10nf capacitor to suppress RF and glitches (not essential). Superglue, gel type is best. Resistor values are courtesy of OK1DX http://ok1dx.cz/constructions/keypad/keypad.html Buttons are from an eBAY kit, search for "25 Pcs Set Multicolored Momentary Tactile Tact Push Button Switch Round Tact" also, this handy web tool by IN3OTD is useful to work out values using two resistors. https://www.qsl.net/in3otd/parallr.html
