Yaesu FT897 Internal Battery trays
thingiverse
I designed these to fit 8 or 9 Li-Ion cells inside the FT897. I ended up with 8 cells, but left the extra space since its useful for wiring. You will need a bunch of m3x16 and M3x8 countersunk screws. Can also use self-tapping. I used a cute LED battery level indicator that I found online here https://www.electromannsa.com/products/1s-8s-single-3-7v-lithium-battery-capacity-indicator-module-4-2v-blue-display-electric-vehicle-battery-power-tester-li-ion-blue-display and a BMS that slots into the side of the tray https://www.electromannsa.com/products/4s-4amp-18650-lithium-battery-charger-protection-board?_pos=1&_sid=dbaec39d7&_ss=r (you can probably get them online anywhere) NB You do the installation and wiring of the cells at your own risk Hey, please hit the LIKE button if you download it, that way I get some feedback, and if you truly love my work, you are welcome to tip the price of a coffee or a beer!
