This is a project for creating a custom enclosure for the CAT display kit from https://sites.google.com/site/zl1cvd/catdisplay/. The kit's original case only protects the Arduino portion, leaving the display exposed. To address this, I wanted to design an enclosure that would mount securely in my jeep and safeguard the entire display. The provided photos illustrate the assembly process, which involves four 3mm x 30mm flat head nylon screws that secure the Arduino board. To accommodate the LCD display, I shortened these screws to approximately 20mm in length. Without this support, the display tends to plug into the 8-pin DIN connector at an angle due to its slightly loose fit.
