This is a Yaesu FT-891 rig mount for a RAM 1" ball. The added support under the 891 is crucial as the 891 only has one screw mount, making it necessary to prevent the head unit from spinning. Hardware you'll need: 891 Mount - (Qty 1) M5x12 with lock washer & flat washer 891 Shelf Support - (Qty 2) #8-32 x 1.25" screws with lock washer and nut Some RAM mount ball designs feature a connecting cylinder to the base that's not robust enough, leading to complaints about it breaking. I've added extra support to the base and increased the girth of the cylinder support. A screw hole has also been drilled into the 1" ball down into the base for additional support. You'll need an #8-32 1.5" screw and its associated nut to secure it in place. Be aware that the screw will stick out from the base, so you'll need to cut it off to make it flush. Using a 1 3/8" screw is also possible, but this size is not common. After installing the support shelf under the 891, push it down towards the bottom of the mount. The fit is tight on the back of the 891 to get the mounting hole to line up. You might want to install the shelf so it's just snug, then install the 891 and tighten up the shelf bolts. I recommend printing this in PETG to withstand the heat inside your car. If you leave it in your car during summer with PLA prints, the RAM mount ball will fail.
