K0ESX ================= I designed a new version that is shorter, making it easier to access power poles and improving visibility for alignment. I've included the STL file named "short" in it. Thanks. ================= I printed mine using support for the bottom inset Screw to secure the adapter to the radio. You might not need this step. It's a tight fit but works well. Once installed, you won't have to worry about it again. I purchased an updated longer screw at Ace Hardware. The size that worked was M3 - .50 x10. It cost $0.27. What a bargain! I used a standard set of PowerPoles and soldered the connectors. Be very careful when cutting for length on the PowerPoles, as you only get one shot! The power cable I used was the standard Yaesu Power Cable. My wire with the white stripe was positive. Check yours for accuracy to ensure + and - are correct. It's a tight fit so I placed the cable on the corner piece first and then pushed the big piece in second. This works great. Assembling it is easy, and then you can forget about the cable. You probably use a fuse system of some sort. That's your call. Good luck with this project!
