DC Power Connector for Yaesu FT80 and FT747 HF Equipment This simple connector can be used with common or multi-core cables of 3.8mm to 4mm outer thickness, utilizing the copper in the cable to push against the power connector pin on the radio equipment. The connector works well at present, with no loss of current or extreme temperature modulation after continuous use for one minute at 100 watts of power. To ensure optimal performance, verify that the copper reaches the end of the connector when assembled and press it firmly onto the cable.
