Yaesu FT-4X Battery box
thingiverse
This is a DIY battery box I designed using freecad, serving as a battery eliminator for my FT-4XE radio.\r\n\r\nWhile it's not yet complete or flawless, the design works flawlessly as intended. The clips securely hold the device in place just like you'd expect from such a setup.\r\n\r\nI opted for automotive spade connectors to handle the electrical connections. A DC connector powered by an 8.4v DC to DC converter (buck) provides the necessary voltage, allowing me to power this setup either from my car's battery or another 12-24v source.
