Yaesu (and Anytone 578) Ham radio microphone holder on a 3way shelf (18mm) corner
thingiverse
This is a custom holder for amateur ham radio Yeasu microphones that I designed using my expertise in woodwork and electronics. I created a 3-way shelf holder with an 18mm thick plywood base, adding a separate microphone holder area to accommodate various microphones. My Yaesu microphones fit perfectly as shown in the accompanying pictures, demonstrating the precision of my design. Additionally, the Anytone 578 mic also fits snugly, making this holder suitable for most Yeasu microphones on the market. I will be posting a similar holder designed specifically for Icom microphones soon. The modular design of my shelf allows me to easily rearrange compartments and secure them with locking brackets, providing versatility and convenience. For those interested in building their own custom shelves, I've made available two open-source designs: a 3-way shelf (Thingiverse ID #4394698) and a 4-way shelf (Thingiverse ID #4395524). These designs can be easily printed or built using standard materials and tools. Stay tuned for more updates from my workshop, and happy building! 73 de 9A3GOS
