This design is exclusive to the FT-857D model, as there are numerous FT-100D models available. The lower square hole accommodates a 19.5x13.5mm rocker switch. Another version features an additional 9mm round hole for fan control. A 90x90x25mm case fan was utilized in this project. Three sets of holes are currently unnecessary, but I may increase the sides in the future to support the transceiver's upward position. It's also worth noting that stick-on rubber or felt feet could be implemented.
