This model was crafted by the Moors & Valleys team of the Young Archaeologists' Club, North Yorkshire. The YAC is a nationwide club in the UK governed by the Council for British Archaeology, and it's open to any young people aged 8-16 who are passionate about heritage and archaeology. This month we learned why photogrammetry can be incredibly useful for archaeologists, particularly because it allows them to record features swiftly and efficiently. Then we put it into practice, and these models showcase the results of our experiment. They demonstrate how well everyone grasped the concept. Now that we've mastered this technique, whenever we visit sites or stumble upon archaeology out in public, we can contribute to the record ourselves. Here is the successful processing stage displaying the photo locations for members who requested it:
