This is a 3D printed version of Joop Brokking's laser cut (Actually CNC Router cut) self balancing robot http://www.brokking.net/yabr_main.html He has some really great detailed projects. Take a look! Please note! I have not tested this yet. The box with my stepper motors has vanished somewhere in my shed. If you see my shed, you may understand The Tinkercad files are here... https://www.tinkercad.com/things/dsL5FKR6KcK-yabr-your-arduino-balancing-robot The frame is held together with M3x15 screws just into the plastic. Nuts might be added if you think it's needed. So far, I haven't made the mount for the circuit boards. Some additions could include ultrasonic sensors... And a transmitter case could be the next step. EDIT: It's strange how you find things when looking for something else. I found the motors but they have pulleys on the shafts so I'll mod the wheels to suit. Motors are mounted with 4 M3x10 screws. The modified wheels went on, sort of. Each motor has a different size pulley! Super glue will help. I haven't made any provision in this version for holes to mount the circuit board. That will be version 2, maybe. EDIT: I've started the electronics assembly. The accelerometer works okay but I had a wiring error on the stepper drivers. I fixed that, then, for some reason, the Arduino is no longer programming :(. At this time, I'm too tired to unsolder everything to get the Arduino off the board so this project stops here for now.
