Introducing a Custom Reel Holder. Unable to find a suitable reel holder, I designed and manufactured my own using a 3D printer. This innovative design features two identical side pieces with adjustable shaft mounting holes and vertical mounting slots for versatile installation options. All holes are 8mm to accommodate 8mm rods; drill larger for a slide fit. The top arm's vertical holes enable easy sliding onto supports or removal. Customize cross bars according to your reel size, and use the holder on posts, benches, or shelves. It is supported by 4 608 bearings with bearing guides by brnrd (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:20032), so adjust scale for a perfect fit. Mount it on a cross brace bracket for wider vertical post installation, reducing internal volume and fitting around the z-drive rod. Remember, avoid printing photographs with black filament!
