I needed a non-enclosed Pi mount that utilized hardware of my preference and featured a camera attachment swivel mechanism. Additionally, I wanted to be able to integrate an extra mount for something like a LED component. To achieve this, I created an adaptable solution using the Pimoroni camera mount that I already had on hand. This approach allows me to easily make other friction-fit components. Pi plate mounts are secured to the two parallel sets of slots located mid-way down each side from the top plate using readily available 3mm hardware. The Pi is then attached to the plate via M2.5 fasteners. A ball with a round extension should be able to friction fit into the Pimoroni camera mount, which can then be inserted into a socket for enhanced swivelability. I haven't printed this design yet, but I will provide an update once it's complete!
