A Custom Housing Variant for the AskSinPP Remote Control HB-RC-12-EP with 2.9" EPaper Display. - Project and Sketch by Jérôme: https://github.com/jp112sdl/HB-RC-12-EP - PCB by TomMajor: https://github.com/TomMajor/SmartHome/tree/master/PCB/HB-RC-12-EP - Much to Read: https://homematic-forum.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=50160 The file **Front.stl** has a hole at the spot of the Status LED, and you will need to add the file **LED-Block.stl**, preferably printed in transparent. Alternatively, without an opening, there is **Front_ohne_LED.stl**. At the spot of the LED, the housing thickness is slightly reduced so that the LED can shine through bright plastic colors. Backplates are available in two versions, with **dev_Rueckdeckel.stl** differing from it by having a cutout at the spot of the FTDI-header, allowing you to insert the FTDI for programming without unscrewing the housing. **Tasten_Reihe.stl** are the keys connected together. This makes them less likely to wobble. **Taste_Single.stl** can be printed beforehand in order to adjust the horizontal offset (available in Cura) of the part thickness. You may need to print it tighter or looser so that the key fits through the holes without too much play. The same applies to the file **LED-Block.stl**, which can also be printed with a perfect fit by adjusting the horizontal offset. **Distanzstueck.stl** must be printed four times. These pieces are glued onto the main board (photo follows) and serve as distance pieces for the display board later on. The height of these cubes may need to be trimmed down slightly afterwards, but this iterative process will achieve a good value between the necessary pressing force of the display onto the housing and potential high forces. #### Required Parts: AAA battery clips Either available at Aliexpress or you can rip them out of a device that runs on 2 AAA batteries. In my case, it was an LED sign from the 1€ shop.
