I required a vertical laptop stand to save space on my desk when my laptop is connected to an external display for gaming at home or design work. I searched around but didn't find anything that met my needs, so I decided to design one myself. I aimed to make the design as universal as possible so it could fit most laptops regardless of their size while keeping it simple. As shown in the photos, it fits many machines and is also handy for storing wireless keyboards. Mainly, you can slide the stand to increase its size and tighten it using an M4 countersunk screw and thumb nut. Easy! The current design's maximum opening size is approximately 34.5 mm. I also have more ideas on how I can improve the design and expand upon it. I already have a prototype mini version for Raspberry Pi and a larger one for the Atomic Pi.
