Y Stop mount for a Creality CR-20
thingiverse
On my new Creality CR-20, I quickly discovered that when I homed the extruder, the nozzle wouldn't align with the bed - it was actually positioned about 4mm ahead of it. My attention then turned to the Y stop assembly, where two noticeable problems caught my eye. First, the mounting bracket seemed to be leaning forward as if trying to make up for something; second, the screws/bolts securing the switch to the bracket were loose because their threads had been stripped from the bracket. To rectify these issues, I designed and printed a replacement bracket with a keyway on its backside and a slot instead of two holes. After making this adjustment, the Y stop is now calibrated so that the nozzle is precisely 1mm over the bed's front edge.
