"Y" Split for 3/4 to 1/2 inch conduit
thingiverse
Sometimes you feel like a split, sometimes you don’t. This is a "Y" Split designed specifically for connecting three quarter to two one half inch conduits. I'm not entirely sure why someone would use this design, but it seemed like an intriguing concept at the time. Offset: 15mm Angle: 30 degrees Run Length: 62mm Overall length: 102mm Finished weight: still unknown grams Take note that the straight sections on either end are remarkably short, measuring only 16mm. Standard one half inch conduit fittings typically have a depth of 22.5mm, while the outside diameter of a standard one half PVC conduit is supposed to be 21.33mm. However, due to the expansion and shrinkage of the printing process as well as the ribbed nature of three D printed parts, I found that a twenty two mm inside diameter was necessary for the socket end to fit snugly over a conventional conduit. If it comes out slightly loose, try increasing your extrusion factor by a couple of percent. If it's too tight, simply reduce your extrusion factor. This "Y" Split design is actually a variation of my previous design for an "S" bend for one half inch conduit: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2958303
