Y Plate for Printrbot Simple Maker Edition
thingiverse
This is a remix of iamjonlawrence's excellent "1405 300mm No Sag, Printrbot Simple" at thingiverse.com/thing:372467 for his Y-Plate only. I have a 2013 version of PB Simple and my Z-Nut does not fit well in jon's version; it's too loose. So I've made a new version of his Y-plate that fits my Z-Nut exactly. I also made a Z-Nut item for those who broke or damaged their Z-Nut at thingiverse.com/thing:546652. There are two versions of the plate: Original (for the original Z-nut) Spaced (for my Spaced Z-nut at thingiverse.com/thing:546652) UPDATE 19/11/2014: If you have a PBSME from 2013 do not print this yet; the model has five millimeters of extra between the two Z bars, which makes it unusable. I will post the good version soon. UPDATE 21/11/2014: You will find two specific files ("simple-2013") dedicated to the Printrbot Simple Maker Edition 2013. This fixes the five-millimeter difference between the two Z bars. Holes for bearing attachment are square; zip ties still fit perfectly, and a bit tight on purpose to get everything rigid.
