Y Endstop Holder For Back Rod For Prusa Mendel

To increase bed distance by 5-10 mm, I positioned my Y endstop on the back rod instead of the carriage rods. Adjust the SCAD switch_dist variable for your switch's hole spacing. The provided STL is designed for a mechanical switch with 9mm apart holes. Mount and fasten it to the rear threaded rod using nylock nuts, ensuring the endstop touches the lower Prusa bed. You can also print nut traps (if needed) by uncommenting the respective lines in the code. Thanks to triffid_hunter for sharing a modifiable endstop design, as most others on Thingiverse are non-parameterized STLs.
