A friend asked me to design a smartphone stand for driving purposes, similar to GPS device dashboard mounts. I created a model with an adjustable arm and 180-degree swivel based on dowel insert length. Printing parts using Solido SD300 Pro's PVC slices. Design accommodates iPhones but more configurations are in progress. It's open source, so feel free to modify and share improvements. Parts like suction cup, knob, nuts, and dowel pin can be ordered from McMaster-Carr using the provided part numbers. Other distributors may also work. Specifications for each part are uploaded.
