This thing supersedes my - "3-wheeled Y guide goes linear", https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2701748 and my - "Y-Carriage_for_20x20_X-Rail", https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3401126. It is much simpler and the main difference comes from placing the MGN9 rail with MGN9H slider on the side of the 20x40 V-Slot Y-rails. Why this thing? Ideally the belts should pull only on the X-rail with its Y-carriage fittings. But the MGN9H sliders did not always slide well and I began to suspect that that pull got through to them. Whatever the reason, I imagined that it would be more logical to let the MGN9H slider get the full 'weight' of that pull. Although a slider can handle a bit of sideways load, it is meant to perform with the main load vertical to it and the downward pull of the X-Carriage is negligible in comparison to the pull of the belts. A bit of difference in the pull or even when the Y-rails are not quite parallell to eachother makes no difference when I also let the X-rail have the play it wants. I can do that by anchoring it at one side and not turning the screws at the other side very fast when everything else is mounted (see Details.pdf). Indeed, I am still not sure whether to use bolts at the other side at all, provided the carriage gives a nice tight fit to the X-rail with just a bit of room for horizontal movement. The "Y-Carriage_Part-2" helps with all that in a very simple way, compared to those former things. And it can do that too with the original Y-carriages or my mixes of those, with 20x20 or 20x40 X-rails, just by adapting the 3 attachment holes. I made little change in the right and left Y-carriages of my former thing, only the size of the attachment holes and an anchoring hole in the left one. They work with GT2 idler pulleys whithout teeth, but also with the usual F623ZZ 3x10x4mm flanged ball bearings. My first prints with this thing showed an improvement, but only time will tell whether I was right. ;-) See the file Details.pdf for details and mounting sequence. Again, the Y-Carriage_for_20x20_V-Slot_Rail_Right and Y-Carriage_for_20x20_V-Slot_Rail_Left are remixes of "3-wheeled Y guide (Re-D-Bot)", www.thingiverse.com/thing:1930200, by NickRimmer for use with a 20x20 V-Slot X-rail like for instance in my "X-Carriage, Linear, Modular, 20x20 V-Slot", www.thingiverse.com/thing:3350550. Alas, although NickRimmers thing is still there, the search field for "Remix Source FIles" could not find it. Sorry, Nick. I added a new X-right endstop, which does not fight for room with the MGN9 rail.
