Y Carriage derivative from MakeALot thing 11601
thingiverse
This redesigned part is derived from model 11601, featuring modifications in the end plates for higher rod placement and a stronger switch flag in the center section. The idler holder has increased clearance, with the idler end rod holder no longer attached to the tension screws. The motor end rod holder is reinforced, and rods are positioned further away. Both STL and STP files are provided for printing; ensure correct screw lengths for the motor assembly. Hot glue can be used to secure connectors. Note that platform centering and attachment are not included in the STL files. Instructions: Please print both STL and STP files for the best results. I have opted for 100% fill printing for enhanced strength, but some cleanup may still be necessary. Be cautious when installing screws into the motor end. For added security, you can use a hot glue gun to keep connectors in place. However, centering and attaching the platform remain your responsibility. Remember, do not add any extra information or comments that were not originally mentioned in the text. Simply rewrite it in a concise manner that retains all important details and doesn't exceed 60 words.
