Y Carriage Bearing Holders
thingiverse
Revise the Y-carriage on your RepRapPro Huxley for improved stability? In the summer of 2011, eMaker launched a campaign for the first generation design. You'll need to print three reworked Y-carriage smooth rod clamps, a Y-carriage endstop holder/clamp, and Y-belt clamping components from RepRapPro's github. Use existing bearing holders or print new ones with hex recesses for nyloc nuts. To avoid support issues during printing, add a 3mm nut after the first hex recess. Consider using M3 hex bolts to secure Y-belt clamps, as they can be tightened without removing the heated bed. Be aware that your T2.5 Y-belt may be slightly short for the revised clamping system; if so, consider purchasing a longer belt (5mm wide) to ensure a proper fit.
