Y Belt Tensioner and Holder for Anet A6 ( A8 ?)
thingiverse
Hi! After trying various belt tensioners with mixed results, I decided to design a new one specifically tailored for the Anet A6 (or A8). This updated version is designed to be robust and securely fastened to a base table, as you can see in the accompanying photos. If desired, it can also be used with just the front bolts - simply substitute M4x20 bolts on the front plate for added strength. Check out this short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCC_nTeboUk I chose 100% infill to maximize solidity when screwed into the table and enhance printer rigidity, but during testing I successfully used a 50% infill with no issues. You can decide what works best for you. To install M3 nuts, use pliers - some force may be required, so apply it gently. Initial prints were completed at 60mm/s, but I pushed the limits to 200%, encountering zero problems along the way. ZigZag supports proved easy to remove and a 3mm raft was used with great success. I hope you find this design useful and enjoy printing with it!
