Y Belt holder + tightener

This is a replacement for Y belt holder on rebel2/rebelix printers, designed to work with other similar prusa-like machines. The main goal is to enable tightening the belt just right so it doesn't get damaged further and prevent the printer from making awful sounds during fast y-axis movements. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: Rebelix Rafts: No Raft Supports: No Support Resolution: 0.5mm nozzle Infill: 15% infill Post-Printing Steps Clean all excess material from the sliders and rail part of the holder. Remove any blob-like formations with a file or knife. Slider Modification Drill one end of each slider to fit a 4mm hole, then use an M3 thread tool on the other end. The purpose will be clear from the included pictures. Assembling the Belt Holder Insert one slider into the belt holder with the belt underneath it. If it doesn't fit, remove some material from the top of the angled sides using a file or sandpaper until there's enough space for the belt. Repeat this process for both sliders. Final Assembly Insert both sliders with the belt ends underneath them. Use hot glue or an iron to secure one slider in place so it can't slide back and forth. Leave the other slider free to move, then insert the screw and tighten the belt as desired.
