Y bearing housing with nylock nuts
thingiverse
I'm guessing this is a remix of a remix :)\r\n\r\nThis Y carriage fits the original Prusa MK3.\r\n\r\nThe square nut hole in the housing was stripped, so I drilled a new hole for a nylock nut to secure it better. This setup provides much more stability and greatly reduces the chance of stripping.\r\n\r\nInstall the nut as shown in the picture and press it firmly into place using a washer and an M3x8 screw.\r\n\r\nNext, attach this assembly to the Y carriage with an M3x12 or M3x14 screw for extra security.\r\n\r\nFor printing, use 4 perimeter shells, a line width of 0.45mm, and a gyroid infill pattern at 50% density to enhance stiffness.
