If You Are Here Because You Have Y-axis Lash, Replace T5 Belts with GT2. Lots of People Have Experienced Y-axis Lash With T5 Belts Before Me. I Was One of Them, and My Printer Wouldn't Work Properly. The Belts Were Slipping Off the Wheels Constantly, Causing My Prints to be All Over the Place. I Felt Like Throwing My Printer Out the Window. But Then I Found a Motor Holder That Made Everything Work Smoothly. With It Installed, My T5 Belts Were Working Better Than Ever Before! Determined To Get Rid of Y-axis Lash For Good, I Set Out to Design a Belt Tensioner to Replace Those Flimsy M3 Nuts. It Took Me Several Hours to Figure it All Out, but I Finally Got There. And Let Me Tell You - It Was Worth Every Minute. With My New Belt Tensioner in Place, My Prints Have Never Been Better! No More Y-axis Lash, No More Lemon-Shaped Circles. Just Perfect Sizes Every Time. I Highly Recommend Giving This Design a Try If You're Still Struggling with Your Printer's Performance. You Will Need: * 7x M3-40 Screws * 3x M3 Nuts And that's It!
