This mod is still in development and not yet fully functional, use at your own risk. This modification targets the XL Tower mod for the Simple v1405 with the aim of fine-tuning Z rod positioning. The modification allows you to shift the top plate towards one side or the other, effectively "shimming" it into perpendicular alignment with the X rods. Key features: The Object for Assessing Squareness: A useful tool for ensuring the squareness of your printer setup has been incorporated into this mod. Instructions: Uninstall the existing top plate from your tower Position a nut on each side of the slot using press-fit technique Screw it down firmly Secure the new top plate in place, adding spacers as needed to balance out the rods Initial Test Setup: Align the printer's long edge along the Y-axis and use one shell with no top installed Use Trigometry to Evaluate Print Quality: Measure from the uppermost point of "Testy" down to the edge of your plate using trigonometric methods. Utilize the Cosine Law Formula: Calculate distance from the center of "Testy" to the end of the print plate, along with the height measurement. This allows you to assess what angle adjustments will produce the most accurate prints. Adjust screws accordingly
