Y axis Pulley mount Prusa i3- Aluminum frames (Max MIcron and others)
thingiverse
Added 3mm lifted, toothed idler mount - smaller footprint also available. Note: a 3mm lifted version raises the bearing to achieve a better belt line, though it may still not be perfect. Broken two stock y mounts for the Max Micron, one due to cheap printing that resulted in excessive thinness, and the second from over-tightening the pulley holding nut, which caused it to squeeze and crack. However, the design should be stronger. To address this issue, I created a sturdier version, opting for an overkill approach rather than risking another failure. All edges have been rounded off to minimize stress cracking areas. The pulley bolt/nut is designed for M3 size, with the nut recessed and secured in place without requiring any tools on that side. However, it may be slightly tight, necessitating the nut to be mounted at the end of the screw, pushed into place from behind, then removing the screw before final assembly. The frame mount screws are standard M5 size, accompanied by a washer for added support.
