y axis idel thinkomatic timing pully supports I print these in pla with a layer height of 0.2 mm Instructions: Making Two Models I've created two separate designs for timing pully supports: one utilizing one screw and another featuring two screws. To accommodate optimal assembly, the support with two screws employs a longer screw - specifically, a 28 mm bolt - positioned where the rod connects to the mechanism. Conveniently, this setup allows for easier external screw tightening. Design Choices When crafting these designs, I chose to retain the original polymer structure while substituting the existing screw that had caused problems in previous instances. To achieve this seamless replacement, I drilled into the plastic from the exterior rather than disrupting the assembly process itself. This deliberate approach allowed me to minimize disruptions and facilitate smoother overall construction.
