The X-Y axis mounting mechanism on the MakerFront i3PRO printer relies solely on a single M3 machine screw, which anchors the limit switch securely. This setup accomplishes its task, yet I am concerned that it may not be robust enough to prevent the board from rotating or shifting during operation, ultimately causing stop malfunction. To ensure secure positioning and minimize risks, I developed this additional support component specifically for switch board mounting. To assemble this enhanced mechanism, first install two M3 nuts by press fitting them into the rear of the part. Next, pass two M3x16mm screws through the end switch PCB from beneath. The bottom screw threads directly into the Y-axis endstop bracket of the printer. Once in place, these bolts are secured further by tightening into the nuts mounted in the backplate assembly, effectively keeping the switch steady and upright in its proper position.
