I've recently upgraded my Ez3D Phoenix printer's bed carriage with several essential components to improve its performance and durability. To achieve this, I made use of the following materials: 4 M3 bolts - These will provide a sturdy connection between various parts. 4 M3 nuts - These will secure the carriage's linear motion components in place. 4 SK8 8mm CNC Linear Rail Shaft Guides - These guide rods ensure smooth movement and minimize friction within the bed carriage system. 4 SCS8UU Linear Motion Ball Bearing CNC Slide Bushing - These bushings enhance precision and allow for seamless sliding motions along the guides. 2 8mm Stainless Steel Rods - These sturdy rods provide added structural support to the y-axis switch holder. This specific holder attaches directly beneath an aluminum bearing. Here are step-by-step instructions on how to install this essential component: First, slide 4 M3 nuts into the holes provided for that purpose. Next, insert a long M3 bolt into one of these nuts and ensure it passes all the way through the heater plate, spring assembly, the bushing, and ultimately into another M3 nut embedded in the switch holder.
