The design showcases great ingenuity, yet it falls short by one crucial aspect: When you pull the damper tightly, it flexes, but the motor gets out of alignment. After carefully measuring the necessary adjustments with the damper properly tightened, I've made some minor tweaks to this design. Now, the motor is perfectly perpendicular to the frame, giving the belt a smooth, even tension that still prevents wear. The upgraded X-axis damper, featuring several innovative improvements, is currently undergoing rigorous testing.
