Y Axis Belt Tenstioner for 606ZZ bearing easy removing for Prusa
pinshape
This is a modified version of the original belt tensioner from the Prusa i3 Hephestos, compatible with all Prusas. Instead of the 623ZZ bearing used in the Hephestos, I have utilized a more durable 606ZZ bearing. To secure this bearing, a 6mm bolt is employed along with two small washers and two large washers, topped off by a nut. A M5 screw located at the back provides the necessary tension, and any length over 20mm will suffice. The axis fixer screws are M3 x 15 without any washers. Assembling this belt tensioner is straightforward, requiring no disassembly of the entire axis to make adjustments. Update: Solidworks 2013 files are now included for your convenience. Instructions: To achieve stronger prints with solid infill and a 5-degree angle higher than normal prints, follow these settings. Brim settings are highly recommended.
