Y-Axis Belt Tensioner for Original Prusa MK2, MK2S
thingiverse
I wasn't satisfied with rotating the motor to tension the Y-Axis, so I decided to take a different approach. This solution seems like the most effective way forward. To make it work, I remixed this model to widen the opening and accommodate my MK2S belt pulley. To secure the pulley in place, I used an extra bolt that came with my machine. While this works fine, a hex bolt would be easier to work with given the tight space near the front LCD screen on my MK2 Printer. Fortunately, Brukj has created an excellent PDF instructional document featuring the original file, which can be found at Thingiverse under ID 462219.
