To enhance the build, cable ties were replaced with belt clamps. The chosen clamps are designed for 2mm pitch, 6mm wide GT2 timing belts that are standard on MendelMax. Required hardware includes eight M3 10mm screws (four for mounting and four for clamps) and four M3 nuts. Before installation, insert nuts into the nut traps. Attach one end of the belt using a clamp, run it around the motor and idler, tighten it up, and finally secure the free end with another clamp.
