Y-Axis Belt Block for Anet A8 or AM8

Y-Axis Belt Block for Anet A8 or AM8

thingiverse

This replaces brittle acrylic straps holding the belt on the bed's bottom for the Y-axis, also improving belt geometry by lowering the belt a few mm to align with the pulley. The belt ends slip into block halves and out through the hole. When loose, move the belts just enough so they catch, then push them into the block, which will ratchet into place. Tighten the block to secure it. Any material can be used for this block, as I've printed over 5000 mm/min at 50+ hours without wear using PLA+.
