XYZ Ventilation
thingiverse
After accidentally triggering smoke detectors a few times, and after tolerating the pungent aroma of ABS plastic, I created a straightforward air ventilation system utilizing a 4-inch DC 12 motor, coupled with some 4-inch dryer ducts and the components you see here. The printer compartment fits snugly in place. Next, attach a 4-inch dryer hose and then integrate the motorized window piece. In this image, I'm demonstrating the system while it's being put to the test through laser operation. To enhance vacuum performance, I placed a block of styrofoam over the opening at the top of the printer. I am still refining the window panels.
