XYZ Printing Da Vinci Jr. Pro - Raspberry Pi Zero W Mount
thingiverse
I'm leveraging the original ZeroW Raspberry case with OctoPrint installed to monitor my prints in real-time. I was on the hunt for a spot to secure the Raspberry and stumbled upon the spool holder for small XYZ spools inside the printer. Since I utilize a custom-made spool holder, routing filament from the backside into the printer, this space became available. I employed a pre-fabricated mount for the ZeroW (unfortunately, I've lost track of its source) and designed a base around it that fits perfectly within the internal spool holder. You can even shut the door with the power cable attached to the Pi, as there's sufficient room between the door and the frame. I've included a view from inside the printer; simply print the STL file and place it in position. If you'd like to alter the angle or design your own mount, feel free to utilize the SCAD file and accompanying STL file. The mount can also serve as a stand next to any printer; see the attached screenshot of my custom-built 3D-tje mini Prusa-style printer on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/make:459694
