Position the xyz davinci 1.0 rear section behind the top latch gap. Only a minimal amount of filament is necessary. Since it's positioned in line with the printer, the filament feeds into the extruder more smoothly and requires less effort. Insert the filament through the same holes used originally. One model here features an identical part that fits snugly at the lift cutout location; however, this design requires removal of a plate to accommodate its positioning, which compromises heat output control. Two prints are needed for successful implementation. A pencil or any sturdy object will suffice as a holding mechanism for the spool during use, while I successfully utilized a rigid straw.
