Hello! I recently needed to print some rubber components. To do so, I had to make a crucial change. I decided to use TPU and Ninjaflex, which is significantly more flexible than classic TPU. I created two versions of the parts: one with a tensor and one without. Although the tensor serves as a stopper, I found it easier to clean dust off the printer against it. In reality, if you don't remove the dust, you can skip using the tensor altogether. The process is relatively straightforward after printing the components: 1. Remove the outer casing. 2. Take out the large screws and tube. 3. Gently remove the wires. 4. Unscrew the pneumatic connector while being careful not to lose the internal bolt. 5. Unscrew the screws holding the card in place and carefully lift it upwards. 6. Connect the cables to the board and secure them with tape at the back, ensuring the wires don't get in the way. I plan to improve this project by attaching the cables to a support. 7. Screw the pneumatic connector all the way down while making sure it's straight. You can use pliers for assistance and may need to widen the hole slightly with a knife. 8. Test the printer with PLA filament to see if it moves easily back and forth. If not, check that the pneumatic connector is properly aligned. 9. Screw in the TPU print at a temperature of 220°C or higher (nfc settings suggest 210°C + 10°C).
