The fan shroud for Davinci 1.0A printers that have upgraded to E3D V6 hot ends is a must-have accessory. It expertly utilizes the stock 40mm fan to cool down layers being printed by directing airflow directly at them. The friction fit of this shroud below the extruder motor makes it easy to install and secure in place. However, extending the stock fan wires to reach the circuit board was necessary before the upgrade. To make the fan functional on a Repetier 0.92 flashed printer like mine, I had to modify the Configuration.h file. Once I find the exact instructions used for this modification, I will add them here for reference and further assistance.
