Required extra pieces: 2 x 25mm M3 screws 2 x M3 regular nuts (nylon will not fit) 1 x Clamp 1 x Fan Shroud The fan shroud and clamp can be downloaded from the original designer at www.thingiverse.com/thing:1328848. Print using supports and abs; I prefer rectilinear with a 0.2mm offset. You'll likely want to redrill the holes with a 3mm bit. A previous drop-in replacement case did not allow for flush mounting of fan shroud without glue (as noted by its original creator). This design allows secure clamping of the e3d hot end using m3 screws and m3 nuts hidden behind the fan shroud while still allowing flush mounting of the fan shroud to the drop-in case. You can secure the clamp by placing m3 nuts between the fan shroud and the drop-in replacement.
