XYZ Da Vinci Pro(3in1) extruder stepper cooler
thingiverse
I've owned this printer for only a week, but numerous improvements are eagerly awaiting me. I bought it as second-hand, but the first owner had used it for only eight hours and the nozzle had been running for just two hours. He purchased it primarily because of its "scanner" feature, which he considered completely useless and worthless despite being a key selling point. At a price of 250 euros, it would be sinful not to buy this printer. The extruder stepper motor is currently the hottest component in my printer. I have decided to upgrade it before replacing it with something else. To do so, I have used double-sided tape that is commonly used for gluing mirrors onto tiles. After applying firm pressure, it holds extremely well and will not budge easily. I designed a small circuit that supplies 12 volts only when the printing cartridge fan is running (above 40 degrees Celsius). This means that once the printing is done and the nozzle has cooled down, the fans will automatically shut off. My next step would be to add a separate power supply for the hotbed, as it takes an excessively long time to reach 90 degrees Celsius and the power supply cooler is extremely noisy due to its frequent speed changes. I have successfully printed from stock ABS steel blue (when I purchased the printer, there were still 108 meters left). I would like to extend my gratitude to Thingiverse for providing nice photo formatting options.
