XYZ DA VINCI DOUBLE FAN CARRIAGE.

I'm developing this system specifically for my Da Vinci 1.0 Open printer. This new hotend features a 19mm teflon barrel paired with a heat sink that I've custom-made through zamak spincasting, complemented by a brass nozzle. The result is the plastic filament being kept remarkably cold until it reaches the nozzle tip, and stays that way consistently. I'm thoroughly impressed with how this system functions. One key component of the new setup is the carriage, which houses not one but two powerful fans to manage cooling duties efficiently. On the front, a fan is positioned specifically to cool down the heat sink while the rear fan is tasked with chilling the filament emerging from the nozzle through an inbuilt duct within the carriage. For now, this iteration caters exclusively to 15mm linear bearings; however, there's a planned release of a variant optimized for mounting on the original bushings as well. May 11th update: Substantial upgrades have been made to both the direct drive mount and file itself, yielding improvements in their respective designs.
