This is my bowden tube holder for the Da Vinci 1.0 It works perfectly alongside my Super Mega Delux fillament holder plus. I was tired of tangles, so I designed this simple bowden filament guide for the back of the printer. The 2mm OD bowden tube maintains perfect tension on the filament as it leaves the spool and completely stops tangles. You only want to use about 50mm of bowden tube; a longer tube may apply too much pressure to the filament, causing belt slippage. This is by far the best mod I have done to my printer. Tangles can ruin a 30-hour print after just 15 hours in. Use super glue to fix the PTFE tube in the tube holder if necessary. You will need: 50mm piece of 2mm ID x 4mm OD PTFE tube 4mm drill Bit Optional: 130mm piece of 3mm ID x 4mm OD PTFE tube, if you want to use a 3mm ID bowden tube for finishing. To do this, you'll have to create a bit of a bell at the end of the 3mm bowden tube and stretch it over the 2mm ID bowden like in the picture. I then used double-wall heat shrink to keep it from slipping off, just like in the picture. Doing so makes feeding the filament into the printer housing incredibly easy. You don't have to use M6 Bolts to attach the guide.
